Carved chickadees custom hand carved entry door
This is a 36" wide entry door built for a log lake home near Ely Minnesota. The door is built out of Cherry, using a less select grade comprised of both heart and sapwood, so that there are streaks of lighter colored wood mixed with the darker giving it more of a rustic look.
The glass is 1/2" insulated. The carved chickadees appear only on the outside of this particular door, but could easily appear on the inside as well if desired. The thickness is our standard 2 1/4" for exterior doors.
