Maple with a loon carving custom entry door
This custom entry door is constructed of Maple for a home in Northern Michigan. The home owners requested ideas with a loon theme. A sketch was made and approved and then the door built with that design in mind. The carving is mirrored in two panels sandwiching the insulated glass. a piece of blue wavy stained glass is inserted to give some color to the water area in the scene. The door is finished with a high quality miring varnish.
