Pricing and Terms of Payment
Since each of piece is completely hand crafted, prices are determined by size, complexity of design and wood species. On the lower end of things, a door like the one below, with minimum simple carvings appearing on only one side would cost about $3,500.00. This would be pre-hung in it's jam and including hinges but not latch hardware.
On the high end of things, the door below is made of Walnut, with elaborate carving appearing on both sides of three separate panels, the door itself and the side lites. The insulated glass is sandwitched between the carved panels. A door like this would coast about $11,600.00.
Each door will take a minimum of 6 weeks to complete and could take much longer depending on the complexity of the design and my back log of projects.
After some initial design consultation and the decision is made to commission the piece, a design fee of $150.00 will be required. This will be applied to the final cost of the project once the design and quote is confirmed. After that a 50% deposit is required before the actual construction begins. The balance is due after the completion of the project, before it is shipped.
